American Tiger Karate Academy

This class is designed to provide the practitioner with a basic understanding of Japanese Shotokan Karate. You will learn stances, blocks, strikes and kicks. Your training will include work on forms as well as basic partner sparring.

This course is for those with an interest in karate as a recreational activity but only have one hour a week to devote to attending class. THis class will provide a level of physical activity. However; If your interest is fitness, improved reaction time, muscle memory or to obtain ranking in the Shotokan Karate Belt System, or competition, you may consider the Traditional or Elite schedule which allows you more time to devote to intrinsic details, self defense application, muscle memory and art or sport.
